View to the northwest from the summit of hill 1161 near Globe Mine Road, Mojave National Preserve

The great thing about being atop an area summit is that the views are fantastic in all directions, even though I'm only up at 3700 feet. Kelso-Cima Road traverses the flat-looking area below, while the Marl Mountains provide a backdrop.
